This is a three-credit course designed for the undergraduate students. In this course we first introduce the key principles of finance and corporate governance, then describe how corporates are financed, how to evaluate projects, and how to construct and interpret company accounts. From studying this course, the students will achieve a complete understanding of corporate finance including a knowledge of the instruments used by companies to raise finance and manage financial risk, and also obtain the ability to interpret the accounts and financial statements of companies and financial institutions.
